completely black or mostly black especially around Quebec and Ontario; gray which is very common through out the eastern United States and white
or albino gray squirrels occur naturally in nature.

3. Red Squirrel- The red or pine squirrel are slightly smaller then their grays squirrel cousin and measure 12 inches from the tip of their noses to their
tails.

Ground Squirrels : Unlike their cousins the tree squirrels each of these types of squirrels actually burrow into the ground and don't seek refuge in
trees. The ground squirrel is often confused with both chipmunks and gophers.

There are nine species of ground squirrels here in North America:

Thirteen Lined Ground Squirrel, Artic Ground Squirrel, Beldings Squirrel, California Ground Squirrel, or the Beechey Ground Squirrel, Rock Ground
Squirrel, Franklin Ground Squirrel, Richardson Ground Squirrel, or the Wyoming Ground Squirrel, Columbian Ground Squirrel, Townsend Ground
Squirrel

common nuisance squirrel.
The Flying Squirrel- the nocturnal menace
is rarely seen and often not realized is the
problem.
